How Does It Work?
How can you visualise your mediation booth?
A mediation booth similar to the one at Souk Rassek is not merely an information point.
It is a landmark, a space for welcome and support, but also a place for connection at the heart of the event.
For the 4S Association, designing a booth means creating a space where different intentions can coexist. Some people may stop out of curiosity, others to exchange a few words, and others because they are experiencing discomfort, concern or simply need someone to listen. The booth should be able to welcome all these people, without hierarchy, pressure or any expectation to speak.
And we have fun !
Designing the Booth as a Living Space
Before thinking about furniture, signage or communication materials, we invite you to ask yourself a simple question: How would we like to be welcomed if we were entering this booth ourselves?
For example, during the festival, the Souk Rassek booth is visible without being intrusive, reassuring without feeling clinical, open without being a trade stand, and, above all, welcoming without being chaotic.
Practical guide
Designing the Booth as a Human Experience
Envisioning a mediation booth means imagining a clear and welcoming space, integrating an accessible mediation area, an intimate listening space and a genuine place for connection.
The scenography should work in dialogue with the event’s artistic direction to create a fluid and coherent experience for the audience, while always keeping in mind that every visit to the booth is, above all, a human experience.
