About Us

Creating spaces where respect flows as freely as the music.

Since 2023, Souk Rassek has been held as part of the L’Boulevard Festival’s community souk at the R.U.C. stadium in Casablanca.

Souk Rassek is an initiative designed to raise awareness of gender-based violence (GBV) and promote kindness in party settings.

Souk Rassek is an awareness, prevention and mediation initiative launched in 2023 by the EAC-L’Boulvart Association as part of the L’Boulevard Festival, with its implementation and further development entrusted to the 4S Association.

Rooted in the festival environment, Souk Rassek was first established within the Souk, the creative and community space of the L’Boulevard Festival. It has since remained an active initiative, fully integrated into the festival.

Like other initiatives led by EAC-L’Boulvart, it is part of an approach that seeks to foster new projects, share them with wider communities, and support their development beyond their original framework. Today, the initiative continues to evolve through this platform and through other collaborations developed by 4S.

Souk Rassek’s ambition is simple: to create spaces where everyone can feel safer, respected and welcomed.

To achieve this, Souk Rassek takes shape through several complementary approaches:

A safe space designed to provide welcome, information and support.

An art therapy-based awareness component, using creative activities to open up conversations around emotions, boundaries, consent and relationships with others.

An active listening space led by clinical psychologists trained in deep listening, providing a space for conversation, reassurance and guidance.

A team of volunteers present on the ground through outreach and on-site support, helping to prevent, de-escalate and respond to situations involving gender-based violence or distress.

It is through this diversity of approaches that Souk Rassek becomes a hybrid initiative, bringing together mediation, care and psychology, artistic practices, and community work. A living initiative that adapts to the realities on the ground and places people, respect and care at the heart of our festive spaces.
