Mediation and Awareness

How Does It Work?

Mediation & Awareness in Festive Spaces

In festive environments, awareness cannot rely solely on informational messages or top-down communication. Celebration is a space of bodies, sensations, relationships and pleasure.

Mediation workshops provide an opportunity to explore gender-based violence, consent, respect and care through experience, play and creativity.

At Souk Rassek, we stand for a simple but fundamental idea: you can have fun while raising awareness. Pleasure, curiosity and creativity can often make messages more accessible and more lasting.

The workshops become spaces where people laugh, create and share, while opening the door to deeper and sometimes intimate reflections.

And we have fun !

Mediation through pleasure and creativity

Having fun does not mean minimizing the issues at stake. Pleasure and creativity help ease the fear of saying or doing the wrong thing, make topics accessible to diverse audiences, and create a climate of trust that encourages speaking out.

Diversifying Tools to Reach Wider Audiences

Forum theatre, games, artistic workshops, visual materials and embodied experiences allow us to engage with different audiences, each with their own sensitivities and levels of engagement.

This diversity makes awareness-raising more engaging and meaningful. It allows us to respect each person’s pace and create connections between information, emotion and reflection.
